I-L-Ita Business Management Services is a registered entity owned and managed by 3 black women. The entity’s main focus is farming and agriculture. We have secured 890 hectares land on a 30 years lease agreement, in place as of May 2019. I-L-Ita Business management currently in start-up phase, with the production of vegetable crops. We are currently also working on a sheep feedlot funding project for Malangskraal.
As a fairly new entrant in the industry, we have identified an opportunity to establish ourselves as a 100% fully women black owned Agricultural food producer. Our plan is in line with improving food security and decreasing rural poverty. We are passionate in contributing towards upskilling women and youth whilst creating employment in every way possible.
I-L-Ita Business Management Services’ plan is to provide clients with holistic solutions backed up by unparalleled agricultural expertise, proven quality assured systems and procedures and an active management approach. Our service is to be tailored for each client to ensure that goals and objectives are achieved, and to make use of in house experts in various fields. Based on the clients’ needs, we will source expertise from outside from time to time. Our strategy is based on the culture of execution. We have a system of communication, review and accountability from management to all workers. The system will ensure that plans are communicated, followed, reviewed where necessary and ultimately results are delivered.

B. Com Law degree as well as Honours degree in Insurance and Risk Management, both from the University of Witwatersrand. She has worked for the Eastern Cape Development Corporation as an Account Manager on the Enterprise Finance Division. She has also worked for the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development as a procurement practitioner. Further, she has experience in Insurance Broking as she worked for Aon South Africa in Multinational Business, Professional Indemnity as well as Construction & Engineering Business. Nomta has always had an interest in farming, particularly food production. She played an instrumental role in securing the land from the Department of Land Reform and Rural Development. Her experience has equipped her with the ability to establish networks and build business relationships.
BSc. Chemistry Degree, a BSc. Eng. Degree in Material Sciences both from the University of Cape Town (UCT). She further studies B. Com Honours Degree in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management with UCT Graduate School of Business. She has over ten years of working experience in the Science and Engineering Field working as an Industrial Engineer. Andiswa expertise are business skills, business operation systems and procedures, health, safety environmental compliance, South African National Standards and Optimization of processes and procedures.
National Certificate in Freight Handling, NQF 3 and completed her NQF 4 Shipping Practice with SA Maritime. She has also completed a Fundamental Business Management NQF 5 course. She has over 10 years of experience in the Shipping industry working for Bidfreight Port Operations in their Human Resources (Learning and development) and Finance Departments. With her experience employee training and development skills, Ms. Thusi will have a valuable contribution in the farming business as she has already been assisting with giving advice with Human Resources Plan and the drafting of short- and long-term budgets.
